Begun in 2021, the electrification operations on Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port’s quays will be completed in the spring, with the installation of the last fittings on the pontoons in the outer harbour in Saint Nazaire. The objective is to reduce CO2 emissions. Here is an overview of the work carried out in Saint-Nazaire and at Donges.

On 19th January 2024, Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port presented its Review of 2023 and Future Prospects to the media. This was the opportunity to make a mid-term progress report on the strategy adopted in 2021.

The Port Authority’s investment programme included in the initial budget for 2024 constitutes the fourth year of implementation of the long-term investment plan for the period 2021-2030. Representing the amount of 33.5 M€, it is a key lever in ramping up digital, energy and ecological transition.
