Over the course of four days, the maritime and shipbuilding industries gathered in Hamburg for the 31st SMM Trade Show. Visitors and exhibitors from all over the world came together to discuss innovations, trends and services in the industry and at shipyards.

At the beginning of September, Dutch shipowner and operator WEC Lines opened its new office in Nantes, an important step in the Company’s development.

Flying the colours of Oportunity on a joint stand, Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port and its partners Sogebras and Terminal du Grand Ouest (TGO) took part in this annual gathering of the offshore renewable energy industry.

Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port took part in the day-long event on the theme "Decarbonizing Maritime Transport Operations", held by the CARGO University Collective on 19th June.

On 24th and 25th June, Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port welcomed its six European partners for discussions on the challenges involved in the mass deployment of offshore wind power by 2030. The following were all present: Port Oostende (Belgium), Groningen Seaports and Eemshaven (Netherlands), Niedersachsen Port and Cuxhaven (Germany), ABP Humber (United Kingdom), Port Esbjerg (Denmark) and Szczecin (Poland).
