On 24th and 25th June, Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port welcomed its six European partners for discussions on the challenges involved in the mass deployment of offshore wind power by 2030. The following were all present: Port Oostende (Belgium), Groningen Seaports and Eemshaven (Netherlands), Niedersachsen Port and Cuxhaven (Germany), ABP Humber (United Kingdom), Port Esbjerg (Denmark) and Szczecin (Poland).

The agenda included discussions about the national and European frameworks put in place to support the development of ports with a view to ramping up offshore wind energy production, the preparation of a joint website, a presentation of the ÉOLE project, and tours of the port installations. On the following day, the port partners met up on the Oportunity stand at the Seanergy Trade Show.
