A Day-Long Event about Decarbonizing Maritime Transport Operations

Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port took part in the day-long event on the theme "Decarbonizing Maritime Transport Operations", held by the CARGO University Collective on 19th June.
 

The programme included a presentation during the morning of the results of research internships on all aspects of decarbonization, including propulsion, sail power, economics, and law. In the afternoon, Christophe Leclerc, an economist with Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port’s Marketing Directorate, presented the Port’s ecosystem in Saint Nazaire and at Montoir de Bretagne, highlighting the projects in progress and the synergies to be found there.

The CARGO Cluster brings together the research players helping to take up this challenge in the Nantes area.
