From 6th to 8th June, a delegation from Greater Western France led by Olivier Trétout, Chair of Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port’s Management Board, Christophe Chabert, Chair of the Management Board of the Port of Brest, and Marie Lecuit-Proust, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Brittany Regional Authority, paid a visit to Ireland to see the infrastructures of the Ports of Cork, Rosslare and Shannon.

The M/V Super-Fast Baleares put in at the ro-ro terminal from 14th to 16th June. With a length of 209.43 metres, the vessel breaks the previous record set in 2006 by the 199.91-metre-long Platinium Ray, and thereby becomes the largest stern-ramp vessel to call at the ro-ro facility.

For a few weeks now, the oportunity.fr website showcases the port promotion collective and its missions and sectors of activity, and presents its made-to-measure service offer for businesses.

As part of Oportunity, Greater Western France’s port promotion collective, Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port and its Port Community partners took part in two major events in June: Breakbulk Europe and Seanergy.

In April and May, Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port took part in three major European events dedicated to the future development of the offshore wind power sector.

The second edition of the Wind for Goods Trade Show, of which Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port is a partner, is taking place on 1st and 2nd June in Saint Nazaire. This gathering dedicated to wind-powered transportation supports the growing momentum of this sector of activity, while at the same time emphasizing the advantages of the Loire Estuary ecosystem. Held at a location at the heart of the Regional Community, it brings together players in the decarbonization of transportation by sea.
