The Port Promotion Collective Exhibits at Trade Shows

As part of Oportunity, Greater Western France’s port promotion collective, Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port and its Port Community partners took part in two major events in June: Breakbulk Europe and Seanergy.

From 6th to 8th June in Rotterdam, at the Breakbulk Europe trade show, the Loire Estuary partners in the Oportunity initiative ‒ Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port, Neoline, Sea-Invest, Sogebras, Somaloir and Terminal du Grand Ouest (TGO) ‒ were able to showcase their know-how as regards breakbulk and heavy-lift cargo in the aeronautical, leisure craft, forest products sectors and other industrial sectors. In figures, this 2023 edition welcomed more than 600 exhibitors and nearly 10 000 visitors from over 120 countries.

Moving from one sector to another, sea energy was the central theme bringing together over 200 exhibitors and 4 000 visitors in Paris, on 20th and 21st June. Under the Oportunity banner, Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port and its partners Sogebras and Terminal du Grand Ouest (TGO) were present on a joint stand at this annual gathering of the offshore renewable energy sector. The event offered offer Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port the chance to present its project to construct an industrial base for the deployment of offshore wind power in Saint Nazaire.

The next date in the calendar is 28th September, in Nantes, with an Oportunity stand and round-table discussion as part of International Week, an event organized by the Pays de la Loire CCI.
