Wind for Goods Exhibits in Saint Nazaire

The second edition of the Wind for Goods Trade Show, of which Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port is a partner, is taking place on 1st and 2nd June in Saint Nazaire. This gathering dedicated to wind-powered transportation supports the growing momentum of this sector of activity, while at the same time emphasizing the advantages of the Loire Estuary ecosystem. Held at a location at the heart of the Regional Community, it brings together players in the decarbonization of transportation by sea.

Organized by the Economic Development Agency, the event will offer the opportunity to observe the major advances that are being made in sail-powered propulsion. The first edition, which was held in September 2021, brought together 17 French businesses and welcomed around 600 visitors. This year, nearly fifty players in the sector will be attending, including a dozen from other countries (Netherlands, USA, Japan, United Kingdom…).

Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port is a natural partner of the event, since the Port is involved in the development of this sector of activity, offering new businesses real estate and bespoke development solutions in immediate proximity to maritime accesses, at the focal point of the industrial fabric of Greater Western France…
