From 10th May to 3rd June, Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port’s teams replaced 500 metres of track (rails, sleepers and ballasts) serving the Cargill plant and the IDEA silo, between Avenue de Penhoët and the furthest point of the Fruit Terminal in Saint Nazaire.

The Brigitte Bardot, which belongs to Oceanic Assistance, a company specializing in emergency situations at sea, called in at Saint Nazaire at the start of June for a classification survey. Previously owned by the Sea Shepherd Association, the trimaran will henceforth be proposing deep-sea maritime services.

Operations to unload blades and to transfer nacelles have followed one another in the Saint Nazaire dock basins in June. The logistical efforts are in full swing for the construction of the Banc de Guérande wind farm.

Since 18th May, two new pontoons have been added to the port community offer in the outer harbour in Saint Nazaire. Positioned outside the dock basins and taking the place of the old barge N° 46, these two structures each measuring around 50 metres in length are aligned on the axis of the four piles that have recently been driven into place on site

In May, the M/V SINAA, operated by the Spliethoff shipping line, took on board 4 600 tonnes of freight comprising various items of civil engineering equipment and machinery to be used in a work project to extend a cruise liner quay at the Port of Saint Pierre and Miquelon.

Some large-scale logistical operations related to the construction of the Banc de Guérande wind farm took place in April and in May, at the Montoir de Bretagne and Saint Nazaire terminals.
