Work is progressing on the Éole project, the aim of which is to anticipate the development of floating offshore wind power. A few months ago, Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port launched the first on-site studies to provide an industrial and logistical integration base for this up-and-coming sector of activity.

For several years now, as part of its quality-driven management approach, Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port’s Marketing Directorate has conducted a customer satisfaction survey. The results give value to the commitment shown by the Port Authority’s teams to a process of continual improvement.

Promaritime, which has its headquarters in Rouen, has recently opened PROCEAN, a new shipping and ship’s services agency, at the Port of Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire.

For its sixth edition, which this year will be held from 25th to 29th September in different cities in the Region (Laval, Angers, Le Mans, La Roche sur Yon and Nantes), the Pays de la Loire’s network of Chambers of Commerce and Industry and their partners are organizing Pays de la Loire International Week.

The Loire Estuary Regional Community has just been designated as the successful tenderer following the call for proposals by the French National Agency for Energy Transition (ADEME) for a low-carbon industrial activity zone (ZIBaC) within the framework of the "France 2030" Programme. The consortium comprising the Loire Estuary Association of Industrial Firms (AILE: Arcelormittal, Cargill, EDF, Elengy, Engie, Eqiom, TotalEnergies, and Yara), Saint Nazaire Urban Area District Authority, Estuaire et Sillon Community District Authority, Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port, and Pays de la Loire Regional Authority, is proposing some thirty concrete actions to speed up the decarbonization and energy transition of this industrial area. The ZIBaC label will make it possible to secure funding to prepare and to ramp up the deployment of those actions.
