Nantes Saint-Nazaire Port: a visit to Tangier

Every year the Moroccan Association for Industry and Automobile Construction, AMICA, organizes a fair with all stakeholders in the sector: subcontractors, manufacturers, logistics companies.

The Ro-Ro Business Unit of the Nantes Saint-Nazaire Port Development Directorate met with the main operators in the sector to offer them alternative solutions to «100% road» transport between Tangier and the French market.

After a visit of the port facilities of Tanger Med, exchanges took place with Hassan Habkari, Director General and his team with the common objective of strengthening the maritime connections between both ports. Since 2017, a direct ro-ro service connects Tanger Med and Montoir: the Suardiaz Tanger – Vigo - Montoir line for Renault and Stellantis vehicles.
