Oportunity Takes Part in the Second Edition of the Shipping Days Trade Show
On 4th and 5th April, Greater Western France’s port promotion collective Oportunity and its partners Nantes Saint-Nazaire Port, Néoline, Somaloir and SNM Heavy Handling were present in La Rochelle on a stand that welcomed a large number of visitors during this professional gathering devoted to shipping and breakbulk transport.
With over 60 exhibitors this year, in their very large majority the port communities of Metropolitan France, and with colleagues from Belgium and numerous customers or users present, the professionals were able to talk business, breakbulk, projects and developments.
This event offered to chance to speak about market trends, logistics, decarbonization and marine renewable energy, all topical themes discussed in the course of specific round tables.

In the afternoon of 4th April, Ro-Ro Business Unit Manager Jean-Luc Bernard was a contributor at the conference on the topic "Ro-Ro Transport: The Logistical Challenges". In the morning of 5th April, it was the turn of Jean Zanuttini, CEO of Néoline, to participate in the round-table discussion on the theme "Breakbulk: Innovation Serving Decarbonization". The two conferences were hosted by Paul Tourret, Director of ISEMAR (the Applied Research Centre in Maritime Economics).
