An XXL Exhibition until 24th September
On 1st July, the "Saint Nazaire: XXL Transitions" exhibition organized by Saint Nazaire City Council opened at the LiFE Event Space in the former submarine base. Nantes ‒Saint Nazaire Port is a partner of this event, which will continue all summer long, until 24th September.
The spectacular exhibition is the fruit of a collaborative effort that has received the support of Pays de la Loire Regional Authority, the Chantiers de l'Atlantique Shipyard, Industrial Employers’ Organization UIMM Loire Atlantique, ENGIE, the IDEA Group, EDF Renewables ‒ Saint Nazaire Offshore Wind Farm, and Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port.
The event invites visitors on a journey to the very heart of the industrial and logistical reality of the Saint Nazaire area. It shows the technological challenges that have been taken up thanks to collective know-how and expertise, and offers an immersion in the concrete solutions and innovations in response to the stakes involved in the community’s transitions.
At one and the same time an industrial tool serving business, a regional planner and developer, and a long-time champion of energy, ecological and digital transition, Nantes – Saint Nazaire Port is a natural partner in the staging of this exhibition, at which the Port Authority is notably presenting the ÉOLE project for the large-scale deployment of offshore wind power.
