Take Kair Preliminary Consultation Now Launched

Hynamics, a subsidiary of the EDF Group, has launched a preliminary consultation from 16th December 2024 to 9th March 2025 on the Take Kair project. Take Kair is an innovative project to build and operate an e-fuel (or synthetic fuel) production plant, mainly for aviation, at Donges, within the Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port Authority area.

The consultation also covers the connection of the future facility to the electricity transmission network (RTE). Organized under the aegis of the French National Public Debate Commission, the consultation aims to involve all the Regional Community’s stakeholders.

In the current context of energy transition, e-kerosene is one of the solutions for limiting CO2 emissions and helping to combat global warming. With Take Kair, the generation of more than 130 000 tonnes of CO2 could be avoided every year.
