A Successful First Trial for Combined Transport

A few weeks ago, 50 tonnes of granite bound for an urban redevelopment project in the Lyon area passed through Montoir de Bretagne, arriving by sea from Vigo (Spain), before departing by rail for Saint-Priest.

This represented a successful first trial for multimodal combined transport at the ro-ro terminal. The operation was carried out by Somaloir, in collaboration with teams of personnel from Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port and SNCF Freight.
