The Solitaire du Figaro Returns to the Estuary

The Solitaire du Figaro single-handed yacht race is returning for its 53rd edition, from 16th August to 11th September. The organizers have chosen Nantes and Saint Nazaire for the start and for the finish of the race!

Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port is a port-of-call partner of this legendary race, with which the Port Authority shares the values of audacity and solidarity. On the occasion of this event, Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port will be welcoming visitors to a stand located in the heart of the race village, alongside the race’s other partners, in Nantes and in Saint-Nazaire.

The summertime event is laying anchor in Loire Atlantique for the next six years and will bring together skippers who will be setting out on a race of 1 980 miles in length.
