
Oportunity Takes Part in the 3rd Edition of the Shipping Days Trade Show
On 16th and 17th April, Greater Western France’s port promotion collective Oportunity and its partners Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port, Néoline, Sea-Invest Nantes, SNM HH and Somaloir were all present in La Rochelle, on a stand that welcomed a large number of visitors during this professional gathering devoted to shipping and breakbulk transport operations.
With 73 exhibitors this year, professionals were able to exchange views on a wide range of topics, including business, breakbulk, projects and developments, markets, logistics, decarbonization and marine renewable energy, all topical themes discussed in the course of specific round tables.
Highlights
On 16th April, Jean-Rémy Villageois, Chair of Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port’s Management Board, spoke at the conference "Challenges Facing Port Infrastructures and Climate Change", which was moderated by Hervé Deiss, Editor-in-Chief of Ports & Corridors.
On 17th April, Éole project manager Philippe Léon took part in the conference "Project Cargo in the Age of MRE: Adapting Ports to Wind Power and the Challenges of Floating Wind Power", chaired by Paul Tourret, Director of ISEMAR (the Applied Research Centre in Maritime Economics).
