Oportunity presented port services at the International Timber Forum

The key international trade show dedicated to the forest products sector close its doors on last 30th May in Nantes, at the Parc-Expo de la Beaujoire Exhibition Centre’s XXL exhibition hall. Held this year from 28th to 30th May. The port partners in Oportunity attended with a stand. 

This business forum is organized once every two years in Nantes, by professionals and for professionals. Over the course of three days, this leading trade event brings together exhibitors and visitors from around the world. Sawn timber, panels, boards, flooring, specialist trade products, timber construction solutions...Three event-packed days with 3 or 4 conferences on each day, TV broadcasts and pitch spaces.

For the first time, the partners in Oportunity, Greater Western France’s port promotion collective, presented their logistical and technical offers oriented towards the forest products sector. A co-founder of this trade show, Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port welcomed a large number of contacts to a stand that it shared with representatives from SNM Heavy Handling, a firm specializing in lifting and handling equipment.

Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port receives consignments of timber packed in different forms, as breakbulk cargo in Nantes and in containers or as ro-ro cargo at Montoir de Bretagne.
