Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port Welcomes La Solitaire du Figaro

This summer, Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port will be one of the official partners of La Solitaire du Figaro, the famous single-handed yacht race, which will be taking place from 18^th August to 19^th September.

The event is laying anchor in Loire Atlantique for the next six years and will be bringing together skippers who will set out on a race of 2 488 miles in length. As an official technical partner and port of call partner, Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port will be mobilizing its teams of personnel and will be making available its port infrastructures for the departure (Saint Nazaire – Lorient) and for the arrival of the race (Bay of Morlaix – Saint Nazaire).

Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port will be present at the heart of the Race Village, on the Quai du Commerce site, from 18^th to 22^nd August then from 15^th to 19^th September. The Port Authority will be inviting the general public to come along and find out about its activities, notably through a photographic exhibition dedicated to port-related specialisms.
