Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port Attends the Euromaritime Trade Show

The Euromaritime Trade Show was held in Marseille, from 30th January to 1st February. All the economic, industrial, political or institutional players in the maritime sector came together to discuss issues relating to maritime transport, shipbuilding and ship repair, the port-based economy and marine technologies for the future. 

Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port was in attendance on the Néopolia stand, to present its full service offer. On 1st February, Morgane Chopin, Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port’s Director of Marketing, took part in a panel discussion led by Paul Tourret, Director of Isemar, on the topic "New Marine Energies: What Role for Maritime Businesses?", alongside Olivier de La Laurencie, EDF Renewables’ Offshore Wind Power Project Director, and Gian Luca Vaglio, Head of Operations at Agnes.

A fruitful moment of discussion during which a presentation was made of Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port’s different projects, including the deployment of the offshore wind power sector and of the hydrogen sector in the Port Authority area, and the future wind turbine integration base driven by the EOLE project.
