Morocco ‒ France Economic Gathering in Nantes

The sixth edition of the Morocco ‒ France Economic Gathering took place in Nantes, from 23rd to 25th January, on the theme of the blue economy and its industrial ecosystem.

A delegation of 75 Moroccan company directors and institution heads was welcomed to the Pays de la Loire Regional Council building to discuss the potential of the blue economy and the prospects for future development. Ludovic Bocquier, Head of the Energy Sector Business Unit at Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port, was invited to present the investments in the marine renewable energy sector, the economic benefits and the projects being undertaken by the Port in order to support an accelerated rollout.

The programme of this Morocco ‒ France Economic Gathering also included an indoor presentation of the Port and a tour of the port facilities. These activities were laid on by Morgane Chopin and Laëtitia Legris of the Marketing Directorate, supported by Stéphan Marin, Jean-Luc Bernard, Cédric Eon and Laurent Connil of the Development Directorate.
