The LAB Forwarding Event in Nantes

Over 70 representatives from the container sector, industrialists, transport organizers and shipowners met on 5th December to exchange views and put the Port of Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire’s activities into perspective. The event was organized by container terminal operator Terminal du Grand Ouest (TGO) and Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port.

The programme of the event included the development of activities at the Montoir de Bretagne container terminal, in a setting evocative of industrial and maritime environments, and an ideal forum for exchange: Little Atlantique Brewery (LAB). The launch of a shippers’ group, the introduction of new shipping services... numerous projects are the fruit of this collective port dynamic.

The event organizers wanted the discussions to focus on the need to actively listen to shippers’ requirements, and on the efforts to strengthen the existing offer, to proactively develop logistics and maritime services, and to pursue a collective dynamic involving all supply chain players.
