The International Timber Forum Returns to Nantes
After a four-year absence, the key international trade show dedicated to the forest products sector made its return to the Parc-Expo de la Beaujoire Exhibition Centre during the first three days of June. A long-awaited, very well attended edition.
The figures put together by Fibois Pays de la Loire, the organizer of this event which is unique in Europe, show that 607 exhibitors from 40 different countries, all forest products professionals, were present. 14 000 visitors, or 20 % more than for the last edition in 2018, made their way through aisles rich with the scents of numerous species of timber.
A co-founder of this trade show, Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port welcomed a large number of contacts to a stand that it shared with representatives of the Fauveder Group on 1st June and with the Bolloré Logistics team on the following day. Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port receives consignments of timber packed in different forms, as breakbulk cargo in Nantes and in containers or as ro-ro cargo at Montoir de Bretagne.
