The First Deliverables from Hackathon Season 2

Developed by Popside, the commercial showcase for real-estate offers is the first outcome of the projects that resulted from Season 2 of the Smart Port Hackathon held by Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port in November 2022. A second project is also being finalized.

Following several months of collaboration with Popside, the commercial showcase for real-estate offers has now gone online. This new digital solution offers a 360° experience seen from the sky, for a complete immersion in the very heart of the industrial and logistical operations centre at Montoir de Bretagne, the better to discover the real estate available there. The tool also puts into perspective all the advantages of this port activity zone when it comes to meeting the logistical requirements of potential project developers. It offers an unrestricted view of the services and infrastructures, through a fund of information that is enriched thanks to clickable items that are represented in 2D.

A Guide App for the End of the Year

Another Smart Port Hackathon project, a mobile, no-download app intended for port activity zone users, is in the pipeline. Without an address, in one click or thanks to a QR Code, the application guides users directly to their meeting place in the port activity zone, on their mobile phone and in their own language.

It will enable users to guide or to be guided, following a route which is recommended for the regulated zones and is connected directly to Google Maps. Currently in its trial phase, the app will be available by the end of the year.
