The Cruise Liner Azamara Quest Calls at Nantes Cheviré

Under a somewhat overcast sky, the American cruise liner Azamara Quest of the US cruise shipping line Azamara made a call at Nantes Cheviré on 14th June. Her 643 passengers served by a 387-strong crew were able to visit the City Centre and to go on excursions.

This was the first port call by this 181-metre-long cruise liner. The ceremony to award the commemorative plaque of Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port took place aboard the vessel at the end of the morning. The plaque was presented to the Master by Stéphan Marin, Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port’s Deputy Director of Development, in the presence of Stéphane Pin, Business Unit Manager, Nicolas Gauther, Ship’s Agent with Humann & Taconet, and Laurence Paitel, Manager of Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Cruise Shipping Club.
